Apple Cake

Ingredients

The Apples
  • 6 Apples (I use JonaGold)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 5 tbsp granulated sugar
The Cake
  • 3 cup flour
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 

Instructions

1_ Preheat oven to 350°. Spray bundt pan with nonstick spray.

2_ Peel, core and dice apples. Combine with cinnamon and sugar.

3_ In a large bowl combine remaining dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, combine wet ingredients. Slowly add the dry to the wet and beat until smooth.

4_ Pour half of the batter into bundt pan. Add half of the apple mixture. Then layer with remaining batter, topping with the remainder of the apples.

5_ Bake for 75 minutes. Cool, slice and enjoy!
