Earthquake cake

Ingredients

Bottom layer
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup coconut
Cake
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 box Triple chocolate fudge cake mix
Quake
  • 8 oz package cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar (confectioners sugar)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
mixture/ topping
  • 1/2 cup heath baking pieces
  • 1/2 cup Carmel baking pieces (chips)
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

1_ Preheat oven to 350°

2_ Spray 9 x 13 pan with Pam

3_ Sprinkle coconut on bottom of pan.

4_ Sprinkle pecan pieces over coconut

5_ Mix cake mix per instructions

6_ Dump chips into a bowl and mix well

7_ Cream together cream cheese, butter, vanilla and powder sugar

8_ Pour cake batter into pan.


9_ Spoon scoop cream cheese icing into cake batter

10_ Sprinkle half of the chip mixture over the cake

11_ Bake 35 to 40 minutes

12_ Sprinkle with remaining chip mixture on top of the cake.
