My Crab Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb jumbo lump crab
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup scallions, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp old bay seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin

Instructions

1_ Mix everything together in a big bowl (add crab last), form into patties. You can make 4 large or 8 average size patties.

2_ Pan fry cakes in oil, turning once.
